Richard Evans, Founder of Legende Celebrity Art will feature on BFBS (British Forces Television Network) to talk about the up and coming Charity Fundraising Auction in aid of  Help for Heroes to be held at London’s Movida Thursday 25th November 2010. Scheduled to be ‘live’ at 5.30pm next Monday 22nd November this is a follow up to the radio broadcast earlier this week. In collaboration with the rock heritage website www.rockpool.com the art auction will be presented by TV Presenter Dr David Bull, Major Simon Barr from the Air Army Corps and the auction will be lead by Mr Felix Rigg of King Sturge LLP . Legende Celebrity Art will be exhibiting and auctioning legendary celebrity photographs by the world famous photographer Terry O’Neill including Hollywood stars Paul Newman, Raquel Welch, and closer to home The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Elton John , David Bowie and England’s footballing hero Bobby Moore.

50% of monies raised over the reserve price shall be donated directly to Help for Heroes. Celebrities including Tara Palmer Tomkinson, Cleo Rocos, Duncan Bannatyne, Elaine Page, Pattie Boyd, Reggie Yates, and DJ Nihal and ‘The Man Who Put Fame On The Front Page’  Terry O’Neill.

Welsh Operatic Singer and Baratone Rhydian Roberts photographed with Founder and CEO of Legende Celebrity Art Richard Evans supported the Art of Giving Exhibition 2010 at Saatchi Gallery London in Chelsea last night. Art of Giving holds events throughout the year to raise vital funds through art. Tracey and Ben Bambrough came up with the concept to create an organisation to bring happiness to those less fortunate, to help extend life of, and more profoundly, cure those in need. The event which is the largest ever art fundraiser runs until 9th October 2010, hours open to the public 10am – 6pm, entrance £10.

Artists work for auction include Terry O’Neill, Jim Bond, Paula Rego, Harland Millar, Banksy, Anthony Quinn, Terry de Havilland, Simon Fairless, Rachel Alexander, Joy Adamson, and Alexa Meade. Judges for the event include Terry O’Neill, Christian Furr and Vic Reeves. 

The Saatchi Gallery is a London gallery for contemporary art, opened by Charles Saatchi in 1985 in order to exhibit his collection to the public.
